Restaurants Near Hyatt Regency Waikīkī — A 2-Minute Walk to ShoreFyre

Staying at the Hyatt Regency Waikīkī? After a day on the beach, nobody wants to call a rideshare and sit in traffic across town just to eat. You don't have to. Two ShoreFyre locations are within about a five-minute walk of the Hyatt Regency, and the closest is one block away on Koa Avenue. Here's where to eat near the Hyatt Regency Waikīkī, from breakfast to last call.

At a Glance

  • ShoreFyre Koa Ave — about a 2–3 minute walk. Breakfast from 7:30AM daily, happy hour 3–6PM every day, open until 2AM Tuesday through Sunday.
  • ShoreFyre International Market Place — about a 4–5 minute walk. Breakfast from 8AM daily, an open-air lanai overlooking the Great Banyan Tree, live local music, and Fyre By Night Wednesday through Saturday.

ShoreFyre Koa Ave — The Closest Pick (2–3 Minute Walk)

ShoreFyre Beach Bar + Grill sits at 2446 Koa Ave, one block mauka (inland) of Kalākaua Avenue. It's close enough to the Hyatt Regency that you can walk over in your slippers. It's open-air lanai dining with a full bar, casual and walk-in friendly, and the beach is less than two minutes back the other way.

Breakfast, 7:30–11:30AM Daily

Start the day with the Banana Mac Pancakes, Steak N Eggs, or the Signature 50/50 Loco Moco: an 8oz patty that's half applewood-smoked bacon and half Angus chuck, served over Hawaiian fried rice. Mimosas are $6 all day, every day. See our full breakfast guide →

Happy Hour, 3–6PM Every Day

Koa Ave runs happy hour daily, weekends included, with $7 premium spirits (add any mixer for $3). It's an easy move after an afternoon on the sand: walk over, grab a seat on the lanai, and ease into the evening. More on Waikīkī happy hour →

Dinner and Late Night

Lunch and dinner start at 11:30AM and run until 11PM Monday through Thursday and until 1AM Friday through Sunday. The Kahuku-style garlic shrimp (ten large shell-on shrimp, North Shore style) is the dish people walk over for. The Surf N Turf pairs a Certified Angus ribeye with garlic shrimp or fresh ahi. Koa Ave stays open until 2AM Tuesday through Sunday, with a late-night menu from 10PM, so a late flight in doesn't mean going to bed hungry.

ShoreFyre International Market Place — 4–5 Minute Walk

Head ʻEwa (west) along Kalākaua Avenue and you'll reach the International Market Place in about four or five minutes. ShoreFyre's second location is inside the market place, with an open-air lanai overlooking the Great Banyan Tree.

  • Breakfast from 8AM daily, served until 2PM
  • Happy hour Monday through Friday, 3–6PM
  • Live local music on the lanai every day
  • Fyre By Night: DJs and dancing Wednesday through Saturday, 10PM–2AM, 21+

The IMP lanai is the one to book for a sit-down dinner with live music. Reserve a table here. Wednesday through Saturday nights it turns into Fyre By Night, with free entry when you sign up for the guest list.
